Mammootty Offers Free Medicine to the Victims of Paravur Temple Fire Tragedy


Megastar Mammootty has announced free medicines for those affected Paravur Temple Fire Tragedy. As per his offer, medicines will be given to those admitted at various hospitals with serious burns. Burn medicines of Patanjali Ayurveda pharmacy which is co-owned by Mammootty, will be given free of cost to the people in need, said the megastar.

It remains our duty to share the pangs of those suffering from burn injuries and we should stand with them offering timely help and service they require said megastar in his message. He also paid homage to the people who have lost lives in the incident.

Mammootty’s Patanjali group reached Kollam with the burn medicines. His statement said that the medicine will be offered at free of cost. For those require burn medicines can contact persons at either 9995424999 or 9645655890.

Paravur Temple Fire Tragedy, which has turned out as one of the biggest tragedies of its kind, has taken lives of 110 people. Over 300 people are admitted in various hospitals with serious wounds.
The authorities informed that there was no permission for the fireworks. Commenting on the issue, police commissioner said that the temple authorities have pretended to have all permissions from other respective authorities.

PM Narendra Modi, Kerala CM Oommen Chandy, Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, and other leaders visited the patients at hospitals and inspected the site.


Home minister Ramesh Chennithala has ordered special investigation into the accident. PM Modi offered Rs.2 lakh compensation to the deceased and Rs.50,000 to the injured, while Kerala CM offered Rs.10 lakh each to the deceased.
